Kidepo National Park

Though Uganda’s most isolated National Park, Kidepo is the most magnificent wildlife National Park not only in Uganda but Africa’s finest wildness. The Park boasts of an amazing exciting fauna of any Ugandan National Park; a checklist of 77 species of mammals, several of which are restricted to Kidepo and Karamoja region alone. The restricted species include the bat eared Fox, striped Hyena, Aardwolf, Caracal, cheetah, lesser Kudu, Chandlers, mountain Reedbuck, Klipspringer, and quencher’s Dikdik.

Day 1: Entebbe Airport

After a very early breakfast drive to Kidepo through Gulu and Kitgum, in a drive that will take at least 11 hours; having lunch along the way and arriving to your hotel in Kidepo in the evening early enough for Dinner.

Day 2: Game Drive

Drive to the expanse largely inhabited by wood lands of the open tree savannah habitat that dominates the Park, with colonized dry mountain forest and watercourses supporting acacia forests. Most of the hill tops are capped by rock kopjes which provide ideal habitat for the klipspringers and give wonderful panoramic views that support an incredible species of wildlife some of which restricted; the bat eared Fox, striped Hyena, Aardwolf, Caracal, cheetah, lesser Kudu, Chandlers, mountain Reedbuck, Klipspringer, and quencher’s Dikdik.Other game include; Lion, Leopard, Sported Hyena, Black backed jackal, Side striped Jackal, Elephants, Burchell`s zebra, Bush pigs among other.

Come back for lunch, leisure and go back for an evening game drive to the Nerus River valley near Apoka where wildlife get concentrated; an open savannah habitat, a prime game viewing location.

Day 3: Kampala

After breakfast drive to Kampala, lunch enroute and reaching Kampala in the evening early enough for dinner.
